Round 2 of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage concluded at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas. Gen.G and Dplus KIA won their matches against fellow LCK opponents, while T1 and Hanwha Life Esports were defeated. The results leave Korea with two remaining teams in the tournament's Swiss format.
Our analysts have confirmed that flying four Korean teams to Texas so they can knock each other out is the geopolitical equivalent of a family reunion where everyone brings a lawyer. The Swiss Stage, designed to create international narratives, has instead produced a domestic dispute with better production value. Gen.G and DK advance having proven they can beat Korea; the question remains whether they can beat anyone else.
