Cynthia Erivo will appear as a guest judge on Dancing With the Stars for its upcoming Disney Night episode. The Emmy, Grammy, and Tony winner joins the regular panel for a single evening themed around Disney properties. The episode is scheduled to air next week.
Nothing says artistic integrity like an EGOT holder evaluating whether a former Bachelor contestant nailed the emotional arc of a teacup. The network has finally found a use for Erivo's dramatic range: distinguishing between a passable Viennese waltz to 'Part of Your World' and one that truly captures Ariel's longing for legs. Our analysts confirm the cross-synergy quotient is off the charts — two Disney brands, one ballroom, zero dignity left unmonetized.
